I decided to change hotels to the Sheraton for the Canton Fair as I went to the hotel and checked it out during my last visit to the area. It was about 250 meters from my other hotel that was maybe a 3 star and was not a great hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and great the service was for this Sheraton. The location is great as it is close to the train station and the metro is right outside the front doors. There are plenty of shopping and food choices in the adjoining mall and in the area. The staff at check in were excellent and I paid the extra amount to upgrade to the Club Room when it was offered. It was a great option as the breakfast, snacks and the 2.5 hours of complimentary drinks at night was very nice with premium choices and lots of extras. The room was great with a large separate bath and shower. Large window with a good view and very good toiletries including lots of complimentary water. There was a soccer game at the stadium across the street and the club staff were able to get tickets for us and make all the arrangements. They also recommended a few great restaurants and shopping locations. They made all my taxi, train and shuttle arrangements and were very easy to communicate with during my stay. I have already booked the Sheraton for my next stay. The only small extra they are missing is a pool but they say it will done one of these days. The gym is very good and is open 24 hours. This is a well managed property and I would recommend it for pleasure or business stays in Guangzhou for families or individuals.

Stayed over at Sheraton during my last business trip. Location: Conveniently located above the subway station. There is also a shopping mall right next to it and just minutes away, there are few more shopping malls. Thus its a place where you will not have problem finding food. For ladies, you can also pop by the underground shopping mall across the road. Food: Very sumptuous and wonderful spread. Room: Was upgraded to the executive floor and the room is huge with a nice bath tub. Unfortunately flight was delayed and thus unable to use it. Hope to get to use it on my next trip! Pillow: Best pillow which is not too soft and yet your head sinks nicely. Only complaint - the bathroom was too far from the dressing room but I guess the hotel wanted the bathroom to have a full window view and it make no sense to shift the dressing room to the back.

the Sheraton was a fantastic place for my recent visit to the Canton fair. They catered for the needs of all visitors attending the fair by having regular shuttles that ran to and from. breakfast was good, dinner was good and rooms were great. try to get a room overlooking the stadium. the fact its linked to the TeeMall was a bonus as it saves a heap of travel time going to and from shopping centres. overall it was good for a relatively new hotel.

The hotel is located above the city's biggest shopping mall complex, cand is within close proximity to anything or anywhere you want to go . During rush hours the traffic around is a bit messy , but not worse than anywhere around the world. Hotel is a classic modern Sheraton hotel , no surprises with that. Good for business travel .
